About
Adam Apperson is a Legal Research Consultant for Greenberg, Greenberg & Kenyon, where he provides advanced legal research, legal analysis, and appellate-level writing in complex criminal and post-conviction matters. He assists attorneys with briefing, statutory interpretation, and issue development at both the trial and appellate levels.
Adam brings substantial experience in legal research and writing, having been trained in the Writs and Appeals Unit of the Riverside County District Attorney’s Office, where he clerked for four years. His work focuses on constitutional claims, procedural errors, and statutory construction, with particular emphasis on criminal law, search and seizure doctrine, sentencing issues, and post-conviction relief. He is the author of the briefing in Banerjee v. Superior Court (2021) 69 Cal.App.5th 1093, in which the Fourth District Court of Appeal adopted his constitutional interpretation of the California Labor Code and granted the writ petition. He has also briefed numerous petitions for review before the California Supreme Court.
In addition to his legal work, Adam serves as an adjunct faculty member at the University of Redlands, where he teaches graduate-level coursework in law, policy, and ethics. His teaching emphasizes constitutional law, civil rights, and the intersection of legal doctrine and institutions of higher education.
Adam earned his Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of California, Riverside, and his Juris Doctor from Western State College of Law.
