About
Charles Kenyon is a former Senior Deputy District Attorney and is the newest partner at Greenberg, Greenberg & Kenyon, having joined the firm in 2020. He has certainly seen and done it all, with his extensive experience from both sides – prosecution and defense.
Mr. Kenyon has litigated over 300 preliminary hearings and has 100+ criminal trials under his belt, making him the firm’s most experienced trial lawyer. His trial experience spans virtually all areas of criminal law, but notably includes Homicides, Vehicular Homicides & DUIs, Sexual Offenses, Domestic Violence, and Gang Cases. During his early career as a prosecutor, he earned the rare distinction of winning both the Misdemeanor and Felony Prosecutor of the Year Awards. He ended his prosecuting career as a Senior Deputy District Attorney and Trial Team Leader, where he mentored and supervised a team of felony prosecutors.
Charles Kenyon's body of work as a defense lawyer has landed him on numerous annual list of Top Criminal Defense Lawyers in L.A., Orange County, and Inland Empire Magazines. He actively teaches for the California State Bar and Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) Certified courses in areas including Homicide Defense, Narcotics, Gang Law, Witness Testimony, Trial Techniques, and Plea Bargains. He has also been a guest lecturer and taught trial advocacy at Pepperdine & Chapman School of Law.
